How ZapVid handles your information and uploaded photos
Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains what information ZapVid ("we", "us") collects when you use zapvid.ai, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
- Account information. When you sign in, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from your sign-in provider.
- Photos you upload. The images you upload to generate a video.
- Generated videos. The videos the Service creates for you.
- Payment information. Purchases are handled by our payment provider. We receive confirmation of the purchase but never your full card number.
- Usage data. Basic technical data such as pages visited, browser type, and approximate country, used to keep the Service working and to understand how it is used.
Photos You Upload
We use your photos only to generate and deliver the video you asked for. To do that, your photo is sent to our AI video provider for processing.
We do not sell your photos. We do not use your photos to train AI models, and we do not share or publish your photos or videos anywhere. Our AI video provider deletes the files it receives within 24 hours. Generated videos stay in your account for 30 days so you can download them. After that they are no longer visible or downloadable in your account. You can remove a video from your account sooner, and it disappears from your account right away. We keep a copy of your uploaded photos and your generated videos for up to 120 days so we can look into any problem with your video and respond to payment disputes or fraud reports, then we delete them automatically. If you want your photos or videos erased right away, email us. You can ask us to delete your photos, videos, and account at any time by emailing us at the address below.
We do not knowingly collect photos or information of anyone under 18. If you believe a photo of a minor was uploaded, contact us and we will delete it.
How We Use Your Information

Third-Party Services
We rely on trusted providers to run the Service, including hosting and infrastructure, sign-in, AI video generation, automated photo safety checks (content moderation), payment processing, email delivery, and analytics (Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity). These providers only receive the information they need to perform their function.
We also keep our own basic usage statistics on our servers: a random visitor ID stored in your browser, the page you came from, and a few steps on the site (visiting, uploading a photo, pressing Generate, opening checkout). We use them only to count how many visitors get through each step. They do not include your photos or contact details, and we do not share them.
Data Security
We use reasonable technical measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. To make a request, email us at the address below.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the date at the top of this page when we do.
